BFG 2024
From Aug to Sep 2024, we ran our third and largest run of the Build for Good hackathon, in collaboration with the Singapore Government Partnerships Office (SGPO) to foster deeper citizen-government co-creation. Over the month, 100 builders - including students, tech professionals and public officers, came up with 21 innovative solutions tackling diverse problems such as eldercare, healthcare, sustainability, and inclusivity.
Five teams moved on to an 8-week accelerator program to further develop and launch their products, with S$20,000 funding support:
Let's Kaypoh
Let's Kaypoh is a platform that rallies the community to check-in and help out socially isolated elderly, to reduce the reliance on AACs and befriender organisations.

GymLah is a platform that allows seniors to book, reschedule, and manage their gym appointments with just a few clicks. By streamlining the appointment process, GymLah not only empowers seniors to take charge of their fitness journey but also allows gym instructors to dedicate more time to what truly matters - providing quality guidance and support to the seniors.
